in the woodworking trade.

 

Your tasks:

  • Operation and maintenance of NC/CNC-controlled machines and systems in woodworking
  • Cutting of panel materials a horizontal panel sizing saw
  • Independent work according to technical drawings and plans
  • Optimization and quality assurance of the production processes

 

Your profile:

  • Qualifications: Completed training as a carpenter/carpenter, wood mechanic or carpenter. Alternatively, a craft/industrial training with a machine-heavy working environment (e.g. industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, plant mechanic).

 

  • Certificates: Training certificate and Journeyman’s certificate (desired). Completed machine training courses (TSM) are an advantage.

 

  • Expert knowledge: Experience with machine/control/automation technology, especially from Manufacturers such as HOMAG/Holzma, IMA/Schelling, Scheer/Koch, Maier, HolzHer. Knowledge of optimization software such as Schnitt-Profit, CAD-Plan, Opticut, OPTI-Base, OPTI-Pro, AIMI is an advantage.

 

  • Technical understanding: Safe handling of PC/NC/CNC-controlled machines, good spatial and logical thinking skills. Confident command of basic arithmetic and unit conversion.

 

  • Professional experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the woodworking trade is desirable, but also qualified career changers are welcome.

 

  • Language skills: German or English at least at level A2-B1. Willingness to learn German quickly if no knowledge is already available.

 

  • Mobility: Driver's license and own vehicle are necessary , as there are no sufficient public transport connections.

 

  • Other skills: Driving a forklift (forklift license is an advantage), physical resilience ( short-term weights up to 40 kg).
